"I don't understand.."I looked up from the page."How do you have this-Why do you have this?"

"It doesn't matter-I have it."He took the page and picture from my hands and looked at them both."In the photo is the other car involved,the one that crashed into your parents."

"The Police were never able to get ahold of video footage of the other car so nothing was ever done.No one was ever held responsible."I don't understand,why he has this and why now?

Jeremy handed them to me."You need to show these to the police."He turned his back to me and started to walk towards the doors of the studio.

"Jeremy.."I called after him and he stopped walking,but he didn't turn around to face me."You just came here to give me this-What about us? Do you even care?"

He stood still for a moment,before I heard his sigh."There is no US! It's over."He walked out of the studio and he didn't look back.

At the point I found the tears slip down my cheeks,just a little. There's been worse things in my life than loosing a man. I just thought he was THE man!! That maybe destiny had brought us together.

I was wrong!

I grabbed my bag and left the studio, with no thought of where I was going to go next. I just wanted to go! I pushed open the doors to the outdoor parking lot,feeling the breeze on my face and a sense of loss of what to do with the new information that I had.

I walked towards my car and saw him standing by the door waiting on me. What is he doing here? Why won't he just leave me alone?

"Nessa.."He smiled at me,trying to be genuine."Did you get the flowers that I sent?"

"Yes,I got your flowers. They're in the bin."I pulled my keys from my pocket and walked closer to my car door,but he got in my way."I need you to leave me alone."

Michael stood blocking my entry."You know I mean you no harm. I just want to talk to you. Please,Nessa!"

"Talk about what?"I asked,abruptly.

"Your husband."Just hearing him say the word husband,I knew that he was already trying to stir the pot."I wasn't lying when I told you in Scotland that Jeremy wasn't the man you thought him to be!"

"Please,Don't act like you know him better than I do. You don't know him!"I moved him aside and opened the door.

Michael held the door,stopping me from shutting it."I know things about him,Nessa. Things that will hurt you. I told him to tell you himself-But I don't think he's going too."

Tell me what-What's going on?"What do you mean,Tell me what?"

"The accident-He's the one that caused it. Jeremy was the person driving the car that crashed into your parents that night."He continued talking,but I didn't listen to another word.

He's lying!!

This is just Michael's cruel way of trying to separate me from Jeremy so he can get me back. He's lying! How could he think that I would just believe something like this..

"You're lying.How could you bring my parents into this."I put the keys into the ignition and started up my car. My heart was beating out of my chest and I was in a panic to get away as quick as I could.

"I'm not lying to you!"He stopped me yet again."I have proof,a picture of his car at the scene. A car that he bought a year previous-Same Reg."He moved aside as I closed the door. Michael looked at me through the window."I've looked into this Nessa, I'm telling you the truth."

I pulled out of the parking lot,leaving him in the distance. As I drove,I glanced down at the paper resting on the passengers seat. The photo-The two cars!!

He's lying-He has to be!!
