Their marriage was so rushed that they didn’t even have a wedding

He had made up his mind that, once he was done dealing with Manuel, he would have a serious talk with het reveal his identity, and make her his wide

Brittany’s heart raced.

Whenever she attended other people’s weddings, she was always filled with envy.

She too wanted to receive blessings from everyone with Isaac and announce to the world that they were married.

Now that laaac was proposing, she was beyond touched and responded subconsciously. “Okay”

For the following days. Brittany started watching videos about wedding preparations. When Hannah noticed, she asked, “Bri, are you and Isaac getting married?”

“Maybe.”

Brittany actually preferred to have the wedding

after the baby was bom because she loved looking good.

She didn’t want to wear a wedding dress with a big belly.

“Can I be the bridesmaid?” 

“Sure, you’re the only bridesmaid” Brittany agreed.

Hannah was over the moon.

For the next week, Isaac spent his time either dealing with business or being with Brittany.

Once Brittery was able to get out of bed, he tack her to the obstetrics department.

It was her first prenatal check–up. Untiary lay on the bed, looking at her still–fat belly feeling like she was dreaming 

The check up was conducted by a female doctor who patiently applied gel to Brittany’s belly before scanning it with an ultrasound probe. An image appeared.

“Brittany, your baby is very healthy”

Isaac stood by her side, holding Brittany’s hand tightly, as his eyes filled with joy.

“The baby is ready two months old and about the size of a grape.”

After the check–up, Isaac wrapped his arm around Brittany’s waist and asked some precautionary questions. Brittany hadn’t experienced any morning sickness yet and had a good appetite, she could eat anything.

Isaac didn’t really care about the child, if it wasn’t Brittany’s, he wouldn’t care at all Brittany stroked her belly and said. “Thope it’s a girl, so I can teach her lots of things.” 

She didn’t really care about the baby’s gender; she just hoped the baby was healthy.

Isaac laughed and said. “If this one’s a boy, we’ll have another one, and it’ll be a girl, so he can protect his little sister.” Isaac laughed while holding her waist. “As long as it’s your child, I love it.”

By the ninth week of her pregnancy, Brittany began experiencing moming sickness and couldn’t eat anything. In just a few days, she quickly lost the weight she had gained

Isaac tried many methods to improve Brittany’s condition, but none worked and only made her vomiting worse.

Isaac didn’t feel safe leaving Brittany alone, so he took her back to their apartment.

They had been gone for a month, and when they returned, the flowers on the balcony were blooming and the house was kept very tidy

Isaac gently touched Brittany’s face and said softly. “Our new house just finished renovations, so we have to wait at least half a year before moving in.”

It wouldn’t be too late to move after the baby was born.

Brittany really liked this apartment; she smiled and said, “Once we get our year end bonuses, we can buy this apartment.”

This apartment was their first home, and she didn’t want to leave
