Brittany Dustin lifted her hand, covered her face, and muttered, “Can’t you give me a break?”

Isaac Salter stared at her, his fists clenched, kept quiet for a while, and then left the master bedroom. 

Brittany didn’t sleep all night.

Seeing his face turn ashen, Brittany added, “William was soaked in alcohol, so I helped him change his clothes. I didn’t expect to be caught by the paparazzi” 

She was completely drained. “If you don’t believe me, you can check the surveillance.” 

Isaac looked at her pale face and wanted to get closer. 

But Brittany closed her eyes as if he didn’t exist. Her breathing was steady and deep. 

Isaac felt like a ball of fury was building up in his heart. After a while, he turned and left. 

-Brittany heard the door slam shut. It hurt her heart. 

Brittany had a hard time sleeping. All the things that happened were magnified hundreds of times in her dream and invaded her mind. She wanted to break free, but she couldn’t find the way 

After the scandal broke, Grandeur Capital’s stock price plummeted. 

In just one morning, their market value evaporated by billions. 

Manuel Salter wouldn’t let this go, demanding an explanation from Isaac. Isaac and Manuel had a long talk.
