Isaac got whacked. The two wounds on his forehead were gushing blood. 

But he didn’t seem to feel the pain, he didn’t even react. 

Hannah charged at him, striking him in a mix of tears and anger, “Who do you think you are, hiding here? You hurt her! You promised me you’d treat her well! Isaac, I could kill you!” 

The room was trashed Hannah was spent. 

Derek Bishop, who had just arrived, tried to hold her back, “Hannah, what the hell are you doing?” 

If she kept hitting him, she’d kill him! 

Hannah shoved Derek away, giving him a hard slap, her eyes red and swollen, “Shut up!” 

“Isaac’s people, none of them are good” she thought. 

Derek, having been hit, was holding back his anger, “What the hell are you doing?” 

“What am I doing? Do you even know Brittany almost died?” 

Derek’s face turned pale 

Isaac seemed to snap back to reality. He gripped Hannah’s hand, looking at her anxiously. “What do you mean?” 

Brittany almost died? 

Hannah thought he was pretending, so she spat at him viciously, “Isaac, I regret ever helping you cover up your identity!”. 

She continued, “I’m telling you, if Bri wants to divorce you, I will back her up!” 

Isaac stared at her intensely, his throat dry as if it were on fire, “Say that again.” 

“Last night, Bri woke up. She found out she lost the baby, and she was traumatized, she almost died.” Hannah’s eyes welled up with tears, and her voice choked up. “Isaac, you promised you’d treat her well is this how you treat her? 

What did she ever do to deserve this from you? Why did you do this to her!?” 

Isaac let go of her hand and walked out in silence 

Blood trickled down his forehead. His face was as cold as ice 

Hannah, exhausted, collapsed onto the couch, covering her face as she wept. 

She was Isaac’s accomplice 

She ruined Brittany, caused her to lose her baby, and allowed Isaac to hurt her to such extent! 

Hannah couldn’t bear to think about how shed face Brittany, her best friend, in the future. 

If she had just exposed Isaacs identity from the start, they wouldn’t have ended up here. 

Isaac stumbled out of the apartment 

There was the roar of a car engine. A flashy red sports car pulled up in front of him, and the door opened to reveal Shona’s pretty face. 

She looked at Isaac’s disheveled appearance, surprised but also understanding 

She knew about Isaac’s love for Brittany 

Things had gotten to that point between them, it must have been a great torment for him. 

“Mr. Salter, let’s talk.” 

Isaac didn’t have the energy to deal with Shona. He just wanted to go to the hospital. 

He walked away, but heard Shona’s voice from behind, ‘Mr. Salter, I heard Ms. Dustin was found to have a rare toxin in her body. If I could provide an antidote, would you be willing to talk to me then?” 

Isaac stopped in his tracks. 

Shona knew she guessed right.
