By the time Brittany left the cemetery, two hours had passed. 

She’d circled the whole place but couldn’t find a tombstone for Kyle. 

Isaac was a hard-ass and ruthless to boot. Five years ago, a video of hers caused the NK Corporation to lose a ton of money which left Isaac with a bad taste in his mouth 

Why on earth would he let Kyle’s grave be here? 

Brittany never thought she’d see such a crazy day. She got in the car and covered her face with her hands. A sharp pain hit her right in the heart. 

Her Kyle didn’t even have a tombstone. 

Seeing her crying so sorrowfully, the driver was worried but didn’t dare to ask. He was afraid it would make her even sadder. 

Daniel woke up bright and early 

He obediently put on a little suit, stuffed his pocket money and a bag of milk candies into his bunny backpack, and walked downstairs. 

“Daniel, you’re up.” 

Emily walked over to him when she saw him awake. “Did you sleep well last night?” 

“I slept really well” 

Daniels voice was sweet as he hugged Emily tightly. “Granny Emily is my mom pretty?” 

There was no information about his mom anywhere in Radiant Residences. 

According to Granny, Mom was mad at Dad and didn’t want to return. 

But what could possibly make her stay mad for so many years? 

Wasnt she afraid that Daniel would be bullied without a mom around? 

Emily, feeling a bit soft, replied, “Your mom is very pretty” 

Brittany was the most beautiful and excellent person she’d ever met 

“What does my mom look like? Daniel asked eagerly. “Granny Emily, tell me.” 

Emily held him and walked into the kitchen. 

On the stove was a pot of cream of mushroom soup. She thought hard about Brittany’s face. “She has very delicate skin, slim, and very beautiful” 

Daniel frowned That kind of description could fit many women. Which one was his mom? 

“I remember she smelled really nice, even better than you”

Daniel remembered the lady he met at the hospital yesterday. His eyes lit up. “So does my mom have a really nice voice and feel really warm when you hug her?” 

Emily had never hugged Brittany, so she couldn’t answer, but to satisfy Daniel, she agreed. “Yes.” 

The soup was almost ready. Emily put Daniel down. “Get your utensils ready. It’s time to eat.” 

Daruel had been feeding himself since he was a little over one year old. He could totally handle it now 

He adored Granny Emily’s cooking. Just smelling it made his mouth water. 

He picked up his utensils and toddled over to the dining room.
