Isaac felt like he was in some sort of icy hell 

He stared straight at Brittany After five years, she had become so cold and distant 

Brittany wriggled out of his arms, calmly grabbed a wet wipe, and wiped away where he had touched her, as if he were something filthy 

Isaac’s hands were slightly trembling. 

“Mr Salter if you’re not busy can I leave first?” 

Brittany looked at his rigid expression and gave a soft laugh. How did he even have the nerve to give such a look? 

Wasnt the incident five years ago all his doing? 

Isaac was at a loss, feeling like a huge rock was pressing on his heart. He tried to maintain his composure and said. “I’ll take you home.” 

“No need ” 

Brittany gave a faint smile, threw the wet wipe into the trash can with disgust, and prepared to leave.
