“Didn’t Isaac already get divorced?” 

Isaac’s cheating scandal once made waves across town, but he only paid attention to Isaac and had no clue who his wife was.

“They’re legally married.” The assistant answered. 

Leo sighed. He indeed admired Brittany, but he didn’t expect her to be Isaac’s wife. He felt a pang of regret. 

“Alright, you can go now.” 

With Daniel as the peacemaker, the atmosphere between Brittany and Isaac was much more harmonious. 

Once they reached the hotel, Daniel started pestering Brittany for a meal together.

“Mom, I want to eat here.” 

Brittany noticed it was a couples’ restaurant and frowned slightly. 

“Will it just be the two of us?” 

“No way.” Daniel shook his head. “Dad has to come too. We should eat as a family.” 

Brittany didn’t want to eat with Isaac. 

“Mom, you don’t want to?” Daniel noticed her reluctance, causing his head to hang low and his eyes to fill with disappointment. “But I want to eat with both of you. I’ve never had a meal with you guys.” 

Upon hearing this, Brittany’s heart softened. She owed Daniel so much over the years. 

Now he just wanted a meal together, so how could she say no? 

“Alright, let’s all eat together.” 

Isaac got out of the car with their stuff. Upon seeing that the two of them had already agreed, a glint of joy flashed in his eyes. 

“Dad, we’re going to eat.” Daniel made all sorts of cute faces at Isaac, as if saying, “Dad, seize the chance and win Mom back.” 

Isaac picked up Daniel, and Brittany stood next to him. “Let’s go.” 

Brittany glanced at his profile with some displeasure. 

But to avoid disappointing Daniel, she swallowed her feelings and followed him. 

The romantic restaurant was near the hotel. The staff sucked in a breath when they saw this good-looking family; it was such a rare sight. 

“Sir, madam, right this way.” The waiter came forward and said, “Do you have a reservation?” 

“Any seat by the window will do.” 

Daniel called out as Isaac held him with one arm. The waiter couldn’t help but smile at his cuteness. 

After they found a suitable seat, Daniel quickly made an excuse about a stomachache, claiming he needed to go to the bathroom. 

“I’ll go with you.”
