Joseph stayed silent. “Brittany, I’ve always admired you, and I admit the Palmer family has made mistakes. So, all the shares I hold of Grandeur Capital will be transferred to you as a formal apology.” 

What Brittany wanted weren’t just benefits. “I heard you’ve got the second-largest network in Imperial City; I need a favor. Can you help me investigate someone?” 

Joseph pressed his temples. “Tell me.” 

Brittany took out a bundle of files from her drawer. It was about her poisoning. She pushed them in front of Joseph. “I want to know where this poison came from, who could’ve had access to it, and who could cure it.” 

Joseph opened the files, and then a peculiar look crossed his face. 

“HSE12? You got poisoned with this, and you’re still alive?” 

“You know this poison?” 

Joseph clicked his tongue and closed the files. “I have some knowledge about this poison.”

Tina smiled. “I’m pregnant.” She paused. “My family suggested that I should go home and rest.” 

Tina came from a good family. She became a jewelry designer because she loved it. After she got married, she had been trying to conceive, so now that she was pregnant, her family became very attentive. 

Brittany was understanding. “Of course, you can take a break. I’ll be waiting for your return.” 

Tina thought Brittany wouldn’t let her go, considering the studio was very busy and losing one person would impact the workflow. “Mr. Dustin, thank you for understanding.” Tina expressed gratitude. “Ms. Dustin, I’ll try my best to come back within two years.”
