After the call, Brittany wandered into the kitchen, where Isaac was now washing crabs. “I thought you were making beef?” 

Pointing at the large, plump crabs in the sink, she couldn’t help but think how delicious they would taste.

Isaac meticulously cleaned the crabs, chopped them up, and dusted them with flour before frying them to seal in their flavor. Adding a variety of spices, he created a steaming dish of spicy crab, garnishing it with a handful of fresh green onions just before 

serving. 

The tantalizing scent was too much for Brittany, and she salivated at the thought of the 

feast. 

Isaac picked a particularly succulent piece, offering it to her with the words, “Say ‘ahh.” 

She did so gladly, taking in the spicy, savory taste of the crab, and smearing a bit of sauce on her lips. 

Unable to resist, Isaac leaned in with a husky voice. “Is it good?” 

Blissfully unaware of the impending ‘danger,’ Brittany praised the dish without reservation. “It’s delicious.” 

Anger could wait; she was too in love with Isaac’s culinary skills.
