Ivy was hounded with the same question at every social event. 

Dominic knew the Hartmans had bent over backward already. He had his duties, and there was no way he’d turn his back on his family for love. 

Dominic glanced at Estelle with a mix of helplessness and guilt. “Zac, you know I’ve been with Estelle for years, and I can give her everything but marriage. It’s just our luck, being 

born into families like these.” 

Isaac understood Dominic well. In many respects, Dominic’s commitment to Estelle was unwavering. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have pushed his family to accept their relationship, and he certainly wouldn’t have agreed to marry Ivy, whom he regarded as a sister. He was also supportive of Ivy finding her own happiness.
