“Hmph” After venting her anger, Leila finally asked. “What are we shooting tomorrow?” 

“Tomorrow morning, we’ll shoot indoor scenes and then move to Red Jack Club at 11 for outdoor scenes. It’s your scene with Penelope, where you two have a conflict and you slap her twice, the assistant handed her the script. 

Leila’s eyes lit up 

The next morning, the crew rented a private room at Red Jack Club and hung banners in the hallway. As it was daytime and the club wasn’t officially open yet, there weren’t many customers, only some waiters. 

Penelope was unhappy with the script. “Why must she slap me? What kind of plot is this?” 

The director was sweating profusely. He didn’t like Penelope very much, but he didn’t have the guts to offend her. “Ms. Flanagan, this plot is very dramatic and it’s what the audience likes to see.” 

Leila had been in the industry for 7 years and played numerous supporting roles before finally becoming the female lead. At this moment, she was being suppressed by a rich heiress who knew nothing. Naturally, she was unhappy. “Ms. Flanagan, actors have to be professional. Getting slapped a few times is common” 

The director wiped the sweat off his forehead, afraid that the two would start quarreling, and quickly said, “We can find a stunt double. Ms. Flanagan, we will arrange a stunt double for you” 

Penelope suddenly remembered something and stopped the director. “Go find a waitress named Allison here to be my stunt double.”

Allison looked at him, puzzled, “Are you looking for me?” She knew that a film crew had rented Red Jack Club for the day to shoot a movie. 

Many film crews rented Red Jack Club during the day to shoot because it was the largest entertainment center in Northfield, without a doubt. 

“You’re Allison, right? I’m Baron, the assistant director of Melody of Delight. We want you to be a stunt double.” 

“Me? Are you sure you have the right person?” 

“Yes, Penelope asked me to come.” 

“Penelope, is she here?” Allison frowned. 

“She was the second female lead in their crew and was filming here today.” 

“I won’t go.” Allison ignored him and walked away from the wine cellar. 

Baron followed her, “We’ll pay you double the salary. Please consider it.” 

“I won’t consider it.” 

Baron returned to the private room and shook his head at the director. Penelope saw the situation and stood up, “I insist on having Allison as my stunt double. I’ll go back to my RV, and when you’ve sorted things out, I’ll come over.” 

The director felt very helpless. Penelope was really difficult to deal with. 

Leila also stood up when she saw the situation. After all, as the female lead in the drama, if the second female lead had left, why would she stay and
