Tina, holding a drink and fruit platter, emerged from the elevator just in time to see Allison coming out from the one on the right. She stopped Allison and said, “This is for room 606. Can you take it for me? I gotta run to the restroom.” 

Allison took the stuff and said, “Sure thing” 

Tina walked a few steps, heard the knock and opening of a door behind her. She turned to see Allison closing the door to room 606. She quickly whipped out her phone and texted Serena:

Allison walked into the room. A guy called out, “Hello, pour me a drink.” 

Allison put down the fruit platter. Some ladies were chattering and singing. She held a bottle of red wine, popped the cork, and walked over. Suddenly. she hesitated for a split second. Then she continued. 

She stared at a mans back. He was in a black suit. Broad shoulders, a mole on the back of his neck. The closer Allison got, the more she could smell him. A faint cologne mixed with alcohol Quite unique. 

Allison poured the red wine into the quests’ glasses. 

James looked up, eyes lighting up. He glanced at Lucian, then said to Allison, “Pour some for Luca. Didn’t you see his glass is empty?” 

Allison walked over and poured a glass for Lucian. After pouring, she heard a man’s voice. “What do you think of my hand?” 

Allison didn’t answer, just kept her head down, staring at the carpet. 

A guy said, “Hey, Luca is asking you! 

Allison hadn’t realized Lucian was asking her. He recognized her without even turning around? Well, that made sense. She recognized him just by his back. He must have seen her side profile when she poured his drink 

Allison glanced at the cards in his hand, “Mr. Lindberg, do you want the truth?” 

“Mmhm.” Lucian said. 

Allison bit her lip, “Your hand is awful.” 

Having said that, she took a step back. The others all laughed. 

“Ha-ha, this waitress is brutally honest.” 

“Luca, looks like your Benz is mine tonight. Even the waitress could tell your hand is crap. Hand over the keys.” 

“I heard Luca’s car is custom, and he’s only had it for less than a month,” 

Lucian glanced at his cards, then said to Allison. “The car keys are in my pocket. Get them for me.”
