The waiter looked a bit surprised. “You’re too kind, miss.” 

Allison changed into her new outfit, a canary yellow maxi dress covered in hand-embroidered butterflies with lace patches at the hem. She stood in front of the mirror, twirling around, making the embroidered butterflies look as if they would take flight from the dress. 

The yellow dress shone even brighter against her delicate skin. 

Her face was bare and makeup-free, yet the complex dress didn’t seem overly formal. 

Her phone began to vibrate in her bag. 

Allison went to get it, glanced at the battery life – 20%, and answered the call, “Hello?” 

‘Awake yet?” came Lucian’s deep, sexy voice from the other end. 

“Yep, just woke up.” 

‘Eaten?” 

‘Not yet, about to.” 

‘The dress I sent you, you tried it on?” 

‘I did.” Allison paused for a moment. “Thank you, it’s beautiful.” 

“You like it?” 

“I do.” 

“If you like it, send me a picture.” 

“Sure.” 

After replying, Allison opened the camera and took a photo, intending to send it to Lucian. 

But she couldn’t find his WhatsApp after searching her contacts. She realized she hadn’t added him on WhatsApp. She was considering whether to send him the picture via text message when her phone suddenly vibrated. She accidentally sent the picture. 

Allison immediately felt awkward and hurriedly tried to delete the picture. She accidentally sent it to Aaron? 

Oh my God! 

Allison quickly deleted the picture, letting out a sigh of relief. Then she texted Lucian, [Mr. Lindberg, I don’t have your WhatsApp.] 

The reply came, [Call me Lucian from now on.] 

Allison’s eyelashes fluttered as she quietly repeated, [Lucian.] 

Then, the man sent a string of numbers his WhatsApp number. 

Allison copied his WhatsApp number, found him, and sent him the picture. His profile picture was Lucky, and his username was a string of letters. 

The next second, her phone vibrated, but it wasn’t a reply from Lucian. It was… 

A reply from Aaron, [Beautiful.] 

Allison inhaled sharply. No way, had he seen it even though she deleted it in time? 

No way! This was so embarrassing! 

A few minutes later, Allison finally replied to Aaron, (Sorry, another friend wanted to see the dress so I took a picture to send him, I didn’t mean to send it to the wrong person… really sorry.] 

Aaron replied, [The dress is gorgeous, and so are you. This color suits you] 

His reply was straightforward and natural. 

Allison responded, [Thanks for the compliment, Aaron.]
