Chapter 1121

Thalassa stiffened, the hairs on the back of her neck standing up. She didn’t need to glance over her shoulder to know who it was.

“You…” Thalassa began to speak.

“Don’t move, just swing the club like I showed you,” came Lysander’s deep, resonant voice, his warm breath brushing against her sensitive skin behind her ear, sending a tickle down her neck. His large hand enveloped hers, guiding her to adjust her grip on the golf club.

Pressed against Lysander’s muscular, warm chest, Thalassa could feel the rise and fall of his breath, making her own breathing heavy and her heart erratic.

With his arms encircling her, teaching her the stance for a golf swing, they looked intimate and suggestive from afar.

Moments ago, Susan had been mocking Thalassa, but the sight before her left her wide-eyed in shock. Jealousy and resentment made her breathing erratic, and she fixated her gaze on the pair wrapped up in each other, grinding her teeth in silent fury.

As the heat from his body receded, and his dominant aura retreated, Thalassa’s consciousness snapped back into place, her heartbeat normalized, and her breathing

steadied.

Following the posture Lysander had set for her, Thalassa took a deep breath, focused on the white golf ball, and swung with all her might.

The ball soared through the air in a graceful arc.

Susan watched the ball take flight, her heart racing with nervous unease. Silently, she prayed it wouldn’t fly too far or sink into the hole.

But then, right before her eyes, the ball sailed past hers and dropped precisely into the

hole a short distance away.

Susan’s heart plummeted.

Thalassa watched the ball disappear into the hole and turned around with a smile, “I won!” Susan’s face twisted with vexation and anger, “You cheated, getting Lysander to coach you. That’s not a fair win!”

Thalassa retorted, “Lysander is my coach, and I don’t recall us agreeing that coaching on the spot was against the rules?”

Thalassa had dared to challenge Susan with golf-a game she was not adept
