Hearing Bruce’s venomous threat, Thalassa felt a lump of air trapped in her chest, anger tensing her entire body. She clenched her teeth and spat out, “Bruce, I’ve recorded this call. You threaten me again and I swear I’ll see you behind bars for good!” 

She was immensely relieved that she had asked Atticus to hack into Bruce’s phone and computer, eradicating the disgusting videos he had taken. 

Otherwise, Bruce, that rabid dog, would truly scatter those videos everywhere! 

Bruce was fuming, his blood boiling. The two hundred thousand he had painstakingly gathered had vanished in a matter of days. Now, his family of three had barely two hundred thousand to their name! 

For someone who once flaunted assets in the hundreds of millions, this financial decimation was a cataclysmic blow, especially for someone as greedy and avaricious as Bruce! 

He was desperate to recoup his losses. 

The first person he thought to squeeze was Thalassa, for some quick cash. 

He had assumed that with leverage over her, she would be easy to manipulate. But to his surprise, Thalassa stood her ground, utterly unfazed by his threats and even dared to intimidate him! 

Furious, Bruce snarled, “Thalassa, you dare talk to me like that? Are you not worried that I’ll release the videos of your mother on the bed? Letting everyone see just how loud she screams, how wanton she is!” 

Thalassa felt her skin crawl with revulsion, the urge to vomit overwhelming her. 

How could such a vile creature, a lowlife, not drop dead? 

Shaking with rage, Thalassa retorted, “Bruce, I haven’t even reported your last ki stunt to the cops, and that’s been the last shred of mercy from me. You want mo beg your daughter for it! I’m not your daughter, so stop calling me!” 

With teeth gritted and a low growl of anger, she hung up the phone with a vengeanc tossing it aside. She rested her head in her hands, her breathing erratic, emotions in turmoil. 

If only she could, she’d personally end the monstrous Bruce with her own hands! 

But even in her fury, she had too many concerns to actually lay a finger on him. 

Lysander knew about Bruce’s part in her kidnapping, yet he had taken no action, allowing Bruce to roam free. 

This puzzled Thalassa. If Lysander knew of Bruce’s evil deeds, why didn’t he apprehend
