The woman provided the address.

Callum drove his car and quickly reached the location she mentioned.

It was an old neighborhood, with alleyways twisting and turning, houses with cracked walls and peeling paint.

Callum navigated several alleys before finding the house number.

Entering, Susan was sitting in front of a vanity mirror, brushing her tangled hair. She looked into the mirror and said somberly, “The Sinclair family is still unaware of the planes and bombs you lent me three years ago. So if I spill the beans to Lysander, what do you think will happen?”

Callum stood in the doorway, blocking the incoming light and casting the already dim room into deeper gloom. His expression darkened as he said, “Susan, you begged me for those planes and bombs, and you were the one who bombed Thalassa’s house in Hollowbrook! You think you can blackmail me with this now?”

“It was my doing, but the tools of the crime were provided by you. If the Sinclair family doesn’t know, then it’s fine. But if they do, do you think they’ll treat you any differently than they treat me?” Susan turned with a sinister smile on her face.

Life had driven her to the brink of madness over these three years.

When Thalassa’s mansion in Hollowbrook was bombed, Lysander got seriously injured trying to save her.

Zephyr, after ensuring Lysander was out of danger, immediately started investigating the incident and found out it was her doing. He had his people slap her dozens of times and even swelled her face.

If it weren't for her once saving Lysander, Zephyr would have killed her on the spot.

Because she had saved Lysander once, Zephyr spared her life. But he ordered a nationwide ban on her, making it impossible for her to find any work or for any business to dare hire her.

Zephyr wanted her to fend for herself!

“You were willing to pay ten million to save Thalassa! What, you value her life more than your own? Let me tell you, if I talk to the Sinclair family, with Zephyr’s power, he’ll surely ban you too and make you fend for yourself! I can risk my face, but can you? If you can’t risk your face being the underclass, you can only wait for death!”

Susan was furious, incredulous that Callum would only offer half a million for a secret that concerned his life!

“What do I care what you think? There’s half a million, take it or leave it! If you take it, keep your mouth shut. If not, go ahead and snitch!” Callum said coolly and menacingly.

Susan gritted her teeth and said, “Transfer it to me, and I promise I won’t talk! I can’t believe you’re such a fool for love! What’s so good about Thalassa that you’d spend a fortune on her?”

Callum took out his phone, transferred half a million, and looked at her with disdain, “Don’t meddle in what doesn’t concern you. It’s not good for you.”

As Callum finished speaking, they heard someone in the alley say, “Right, the woman named Susan lives in there.”
