She had just stepped out with her friends for a bit of window shopping.

Little did she expect that the moment they strolled into the luxury car dealership, she'd bump into Alaric and Hertha!

What really set Georgia off was seeing Alaric buying Hertha a car! Why the hell was he buying Hertha a car?

His money had her family's fingerprints all over it. Why was he spending it on Hertha?

The rage within Georgia was a wildfire, simmering at her core, constantly suppressed by her own efforts.

Without Angelina's support, Georgia resorted to playing the damsel in distress—a tactic she had previously scorned. But harsh reality forced her hand.

"Georgia, playing the innocent flower doesn't suit you. Just be your usual self. Your attempt at squeezing out tears is giving me the creeps," Alaric called her out directly.

The anger Georgia had been suppressing flared up, impossible to hold back any longer.

The pitiful facade vanished in an instant, replaced by a snarling visage as she pointed at Alaric, "Alaric, what the hell gives you the right to buy that tramp Hertha a car! Every penny you spend comes from my family's generosity. How dare you take our money and spend it on some floozy without even consulting us?"

Georgia was used to getting her way, and bottling up her frustration was driving her mad.

Having barely contained her anger for a few minutes, she was on the verge of losing it.

Now exposed by Alaric, she dropped the act and launched into a tirade, spitting venom and baring her teeth like a fishwife at a street brawl.

Alaric was taken aback, not expecting Georgia to flip so quickly.

"Earned? What have you ever accomplished? In all these years, have you ever made a single penny on your own? You're nothing but a deadbeat, utterly incompetent! No wonder your cousin's got you under his thumb!" Georgia spat out, breathless with fury.

In her eyes, Alaric was beneath her, a wastrel with no real talent or substance.

If not for his handsome face that had initially bewitched her, Georgia wouldn't have given him the time of day.

Her words were so harsh that even Hertha couldn't stand to listen.

"Hey, you..." She stepped forward, intending to defend Alaric.

But with one step, Alaric pulled her behind him. Hertha looked up to see his face grim, his aura more menacing than ever before.
