Rosalind could tell Joshua was still uneasy, probably because she had brought up Harper's passing. Harper was the apple of Joshua's eye, his pride and joy for so many years. She was an exceptional daughter, deeply in love with Lysander. She was supposed to marry Lysander, Joshua's favorite, the man he had handpicked to inherit his business empire. Joshua had dreamed of retiring early, leaving his legacy in the capable hands of Lysander and Harper. But Harper's untimely death shattered that dream, leaving a void in Joshua's heart.

"I understand. I'll be more careful in the future," Rosalind said, her voice level as she prepared to leave. Then, something occurred to her, and she paused. "Are you really planning to have lunch with Lysander and Thalassa later today?"

"Of course," Joshua replied.

"Send me the location. I'll join you," Rosalind stated firmly.

"You're coming too?" Joshua asked, surprised. Before Rosalind could respond, he sighed, "Alright, I'll text you the address once Lysander sends it to me."

Deep down, Rosalind hadn't let go of Lysander. Perhaps seeing him with Thalassa, happy and in love, would help her move on.

Thalassa overslept, waking up at four in the afternoon. She quickly got out of bed, showered, did her makeup, and picked out a chic outfit. She was going to the movies with Lysander and wanted to look her best to lift her spirits.

By the time she was ready, it was half-past five. She was about to text Lysander when she heard a car pulling into the driveway. It was Lysander!

"Yes," David confirmed.

Thalassa couldn't help but laugh at David's solemn demeanor. "Why so formal? Just because Lysander and I tied the knot doesn't mean I'm not the same Thalassa. Lighten up a bit."

Knowing she was on her way to join Lysander for dinner made her cheerful again. Dinner before a movie—when had Lysander become such a romantic?

Her comment made David sheepishly smile as he opened the car door for her, "Please, Mrs. Sinclair, after you."
