Dorothy had a headache from all the yelling and was just about to explain the situation when Karen switched gears.

"Did you guys sleep together?"

"Uh... Yeah."

"Is Mr. Lopez’s little friend big?" Karen blinked, her face full of gossip.

Dorothy was taken aback by the question. She stammered, "What?"

"What do you mean 'what'? Remember I asked you before if Mr. Lopez was good in bed? He always looks so chaste, like he's got 'stay away' written all over his handsome face. I'm curious if guys like that are two-faced, like super passionate when they get intimate?"

Everett can be considered “passionate”, she thought.

"Hold on, Karen! I'm trying to have a serious conversation with you."

Dorothy massaged her temples and confessed, "He's not in love with Heather."
