Lyon looked up with difficulty and glanced at the chair that was only one meter away from him.

He can’t tell what the chair was made of. But it had a reflection of silver and its back was attached to multiple colorful circuits. Moreover, there were two tubes installed to its right side which was channeled to a bucket of water.

His face suddenly changed and asked, “What are you doing?”

“You are a runway model right? What can you do after if you don’t have legs?”

Looking serious and angry, Magnus grasped his shirt and then dragged him to that chair.

“Let go of me.” Lyon screamed and was struggling violently. But he can barely move since he was cocooned by sack and ropes. He can only be dragged by Magnus.

“I’ll say... I’ll tell you everything...”

Lyon screamed in fear. The whole basement was echoing his screeching.

“It was Franklin! He ordered me to approach Hayden and take photos of us sleeping together. But nothing happened between us. I just drugged her to let her pass out. Then... then I took the photos and gave them to Franklin.”

Magnus frowned and looked at Joseph.

Joseph didn’t even have to ask Lyon why would Franklin need these pictures. The only thing he wanted from Hayden was her shares of Downey Group.

Joseph’s face was freezing cold in darkness.

Walking forward, he stepped on Lyon’s face, “You won’t be able to speak now if you really did something.”

“Just let me go, please. I was forced to do that.”

“Mr. Beckham.”

Afraid that things might get complicated if Lyon was dead, Magnus said, “Now that we’re done with him, should we let him go?”

Retracting his foot, Joseph said coldly, “You don’t need to finish this. Those two thugs outside will know what to do.”

Magnus let out a sigh of relief. He didn’t really care what would happen to Lyon as long as he didn’t have to punish him himself.

Lyon was a shitty person anyway.

Then they walked out of the basement and told those two thugs to go in. After a minute, Magnus can hear miserable screaming, but that sound quickly disappeared.

Magus can’t even think about what these two hired thugs were doing.

“What should we do now, Mr. Beckham?”

“We’ll see.”

Sitting at the back seat, Joseph said coldly, “

For Old Master Beckham‘s sake, he didn’t care much what Franklin did before. What’s more, he didn’t get the time to manage the company recently, so Franklin can actually help him. But now, everything had changed, because he messed with the wrong person.

When it was near the new year, there was a drill at the University of Public Security.

Ignoring his coughing, Stella said seriously, “Just follow me later.”

“You can’t do it.” Stefan immediately dragged Stella and said, “I will do this myself. You can’t report it.”

“Are you crazy?” Stella’s face darkened. “This is just a drill, remember? All the hideouts are pre-arranged. What’s more, all our trifles don’t even have bullets. What if something goes wrong? Plus, there are other members in our team. What if they bump into you and assume it’s just the pre-arranged hideout?”

Stefan looked pretty serious, “Other team member won’t trespass into other members’ territory once the area is divided clearly. Moreover, I’m confident that I can arrest the drug lord this time. I don’t want to receive a medal or something. I just want to take them all into custody.”

After the morale-boosting meeting, Stella divided search territories in her team and asked two people to follow her. Then they went to the east part of Nanking together.
