"Babe, your phone is ringing" Jason said in my head

"Give it to me"

He gave me the phone and I received the call without checking the caller

"Hello, who is this?" I said sleepily

"IT'S YOUR FORGOTTEN BEST FRIEND" Cynthia voice blasted through the speaker and that actually woke me up

"Oh! Cynthia! What's up?" I asked as I was trying to get into a sitting position

"OH! CYNTHIA WHAT'S UP? cynythia mimicked "IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SAY AFTER RUNNING AWAY FROM HOME?"

"I'm sorry Cynthia"

"You must meet me this afternoon whether you like it or not and you better have a good excuse planned or else, consider two of your teeth broken"

"Are you that furious with me?"

"I'm super furious with you. Do you know what your hot CEO passed through because you left him, or how broken down your sister was? You couldn't even confided in me before you pulled that stupid action and you expect me not to be furious"

"I know Cynthia, I know and I'm sorry for everything"

"And I'm sorry for everything" she mimicked again "I'm telling you, you better have a good excuse for your actions"

"Okay. See you this afternoon"

"See you too"

She hung up the call and I carelessly threw my phone on the bed before looking out of the window

"Good morning" I said to an already dressed Jason who had been staring at me for sometime now

"Good morning" he replied

"How was your night?"

"It was one of the best nights I have seen in weeks"

"Why didn't you wake me up when you know that we will be going to work today?"

"Because I don't know if you are ready to go yet"

"You should have asked me first" I said with a little anger and that made me suspected that anger might be one of my pregnancy symptoms

"I'm sorry"

"It's okay boss" I said while trying to calm myself down "Maybe I should resume next week then"

"Okay then, I will see you later in the day and don't forget to call Tanner should in case you need anything, I input his number in this morning" he kissed me softly on the lips and bent his head to kiss my stomach "Bye, cutie, daddy is going out"

I saw him off to the door and gave him a very long kiss before going back in to rearrange our bedroom

I and Cynthia decided to meet at Jason's mansion that afternoon because she wanted to see the billionaire's mansion herself.

She got to the house around three because she left work early and was confronted by Tanner who asked for my permission before letting her in

I hugged her as soon as she was out of the lift and she hugged me back

"You better have a good excuse" she said quietly into my ears

"Are you threatening me in my house?" I joked

"Maybe"

"This way to the sitting room"

"Wow! This is heaven" Cynthia complimented when we got to the sitting room

"That was how I felt the first time I was here"

"And you better have a good excuse" she reminded me

"Won't you eat first" I suggested "because I prepared your favorite"
