Leopold descended from his upstairs study, having just finished a video conference. 

He noted the subtle change in Aurelia’s expression, his gaze instinctively sweeping over her. 

She had recovered quite quickly; her waist was slim, her stomach flat, just like a young woman who had never delivered a child. However, her breast didn’t seem to have shrunk at all. Was it perhaps due to her not breastfeeding? 

His Adam’s apple bobbed, his gaze getting more intense. 

Aurelia glanced at him. Things had been harmonious between them recently. She hadn’t brought up the topic of divorce again. Since he had already scheduled a family meeting during their child’s christening, she was content to wait patiently. 

“Any trouble at the company recently?” she asked. 

“You just focus on recovering, don’t worry about anything else,” he replied nonchalantly. 

She shrugged. Being stuck at home day in and day out was driving her up the wall. She was starting to feel as if she was just part of the furniture. 

Adding to her frustration, her mother insisted that using electronic devices during the postpartum period would damage her eyes, so Leopold had confiscated her phone and laptop. 

After feeding the baby, Jessica took her grandson to the garden to bask in the sun, with Leopold trailing behind her. 

“Callie came by the other day to discuss engagement. What are your thoughts?” Jessica asked. 

“I’ll handle it. Don’t worry,” Leopold answered in a deep voice. 

His mother gave him a probing look. Despite being his mother, she found his intentions difficult to decipher. 

“I’m getting old. I don’t want to be burdened with household affairs anymore. You need to find a capable wife so I can focus on my grandson.” 

“I understand,” Leopold replied nonchalantly, his gaze drifting through the window to the woman inside. 

Aurelia sneaked a glance at him, then turned and disappeared up the staircase. 

Once in the study, Aurelia retrieved her phone from the drawer, eager to check her work emails. 

A month after its launch, the sales of ‘Destiny‘ had already surpassed ‘Secret‘, frequently making it to the top trend. It was about to surpass the ‘Eternal Love‘ series. 

Evelyn was not pleased and had demanded the Marketing Department to give some advertising slots back to the ‘Eternal Love‘ series. And Leopold had already approved.
