Her background is questionable enough, but she’s also restless, always mingling with Arnold, it’s disgraceful. The gossip is about to overwhelm the Stirling family. All the daughters–in–law of the Stirling family are well–behaved. If such a woman becomes the matriarch, how will she convince the public? The other daughters–in–law might even follow suit. Melissa detested those lowly gold–diggers, and her brother happened to marry such a woman, wasn’t this meant to upset her?
