Winter's face immediately flushed red. "Maybe... we got the wrong room. She must be somewhere else!"

However, Xavier's expression darkened, becoming almost terrifying. He stared at the door with his fists clenched tightly. Even his eyes were bloodshot.

Frightened by Xavier's expression, Winter hurriedly said, "Xavier, let's check somewhere else!"

"It's your birthday, and this entire floor was reserved by me," Xavier growled through gritted teeth. "How could there be anyone else in here?"

Seeing that Xavier was about to push the door open, Winter quickly blocked his way. "Xavier, calm down. It might be a mistake. Don't do anything rash," she pleaded, noticing his expression growing more ominous. "Noelle isn't like that. She..."

"Xavier, don't!" Winter insisted, grabbing his arm and shaking her head. "Xavier, please. Others are coming!"

Xavier looked up to see that most of the people from the party had gathered nearby.

He scowled deeply and glanced at Winter, who had turned pale and was shaking her head frantically.

"It wasn't me. I don't know why they're here," she said. Then, she took a deep breath and whispered in his ear, "Don't act impulsively. Go calm them down and get them to leave. Then, we can check on Noelle."

Xavier frowned, but Winter continued, "Even if Noelle is inside, you can't just barge in now. Think about what that would do to her."

Seeing that Xavier was beginning to calm down, Winter squeezed his hand. "I'll go and talk to them."

"If you won't knock, we can do it for you!" someone from the crowd stepped forward, moving past Winter toward the door, but Xavier blocked them.

His expression was stern as he growled, "I'd like to see who dares open that door!"

"Come on, Mr. Harris. We're just trying to help, considering..."

"What are you all doing here?"

Just as tensions were rising, a cool voice cut through the crowd. Everyone turned to see Noelle standing behind them, looking puzzled. "What's going on?"

Winter's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Noelle and then back at the door. "Noelle... How are you here?"
