"You—" Xylos, who was flustered and red-faced, pointed a trembling finger at Tania. "Y-You ill-mannered woman, you're unfit to even step through the Lennon residence's door!"

"Tania is my wife, not some improper woman. Honestly, if it were up to me, I wouldn't have brought her here at all. But since you insisted, here we are."

"You… Are you trying to kill me? Didn't you hear me say I don't acknowledge her? Tania is not the Lennons' daughter-in-law!"

"I never said she was. In fact, I don't consider myself a Lennon," Peter retorted coldly, causing Xylos to falter and nearly lose his balance. Fortunately, Jack caught him just in time.

"Are you alright?" Jack asked, helping Xylos sit down.

Xylos took a deep breath, his sharp gaze fixed on Tania. "I've never seen such shamelessness!"

"You—" Xylos' breath caught once again, and this time, he seemed genuinely on the brink of fainting.

"Dad, are you alright?" Jack asked, grasping his hand and pressing his fingers to Xylos' pressure points to revive him.

Xylos gradually opened his eyes, gripping Jack's hand tightly. "Jack, tell me… She's lying, right? Everything she's saying is nonsense, right?"

"I…" Jack hesitated, a complicated look passing over his face as he glanced at Tania, who only smirked.
