"You've anticipated this? What do you mean?" Tania did not understand. "Why say that?"

Peter said this as he guided Tania to sit down. "Where's Brandon?"

"Downstairs. Zara adores him," Tania replied, glancing at Peter and noticing the soft smile on his face whenever he mentioned Brandon. "Peter, you…"

Tania snapped out of it and shook her head. "It's nothing. It's late. I should take Brandon home."

Peter pursed his lips, clearly displeased. Yet after looking at her, he finally nodded. "I'll drive you both back, then."

"There's no need."

"You don't have a car, and Five Elements Residence is quite far from Phoenix Tree Residence." Without giving Tania a chance to refuse, Peter stood up, grabbed his coat, and said, "Let's go. I'll drive you."

"Alright. Thanks for the help." Tania followed him out.

Downstairs, Brandon was nodding off after hearing several stories, his little head bobbing. The sight softened Zara's heart as she gently patted his back and held him close.

"Mr. Peter, Ms. Tania?"

"Zara, let me take him," Peter said, stepping forward to take Brandon, though Zara seemed a little reluctant.

"Ms. Tania, are you leaving already? It's so late!"

"Yes, Zara. I need to get back. My cousin and the others are waiting for me."

Noelle frowned slightly while Charles chuckled and tapped her nose. "Seems you guessed wrong."

"Not necessarily. It could still be Sean!" Noelle clung to her hope. However, when Charles went to open the door, there stood Peter with Brandon in his arms and Tania by his side.

Charles smiled and said, "Come in."

Peter gave a small nod and stepped inside with Brandon.

Noelle's mouth fell open, disappointment clear in her expression. "It's already this late, and you're all shuffling around. Aren't you worried about wearing Brandon out?"

"He's fine. Brandon's very well-behaved," Tania said as she moved to take Brandon from Peter.

However, Peter did not let go. "I'll carry him to the room," he insisted.
