While Noelle was out with Brian on an inspection, she received a call from Winter. Winter mentioned that her birthday was coming up in a few days and that Noelle, as her only sister, was expected to attend.

In the past, Noelle might have attended the event out of consideration for the family and Winter's reputation. However, the current Noelle was different. Even if she decided to go, she would not allow Winter to bully her like before.

After hanging up the phone, Noelle's expression remained calm. Brian noticed her silence and assumed something was wrong. "Noelle?"

Noelle snapped out of her thoughts. She tucked her phone into her bag and opened her notebook to continue working with Brian. However, it was clear that her focus had waned compared to earlier. "You seem off. Is something wrong?"

Noelle shook her head. "Nothing major. By the way, you mentioned earlier that the higher-ups want to demolish the psychiatric hospital?" Noelle thought that if this were the case, the project in the area might not be as challenging.

Now, the main concerns were the geological issues and the construction timeline.

Brian nodded. "Yes, that's what Mr. Hoffman said, but the final decision will depend on the higher authorities. As you know, many issues need to be considered before any construction begins. And demolishing the hospital is not easy; we have to think about where these patients will go afterward."

Noelle nodded in agreement. "But that's not really our concern, is it?"

Brian smirked. "You're partially right, but Mr. Hoffman wants Collosus Group to handle this problem."

Noelle was surprised. "Why is that?"

As they reached the ground floor, Noelle spotted Xavier standing in front of the Collosus Group building. She paused because Xavier had already seen her and was walking in her direction.

Brian noticed the exchange and gave Noelle a sideways glance. "You know him?"

Noelle nodded, and Brian said, "I'll leave you two to talk. I'll head up."

After Brian left, Noelle turned to Xavier. "Are you here to see Mr. Hoffman?"

"No, I'm here to see you," Xavier replied.
