"I don't know what happened. The moment I stepped outside, I was targeted. The paparazzi were chasing me relentlessly. I couldn't find you, so I ran out, but I had no idea there were so many reporters outside as well!"

Winter's entire body was trembling. Just thinking about the chaos left her terrified. She had never imagined that being hunted down could feel so horrifying, and those people had not listened to a word she said, merely forcing accusations on her.

"It seems like someone planned this, but who could it be?" Suzy frowned. "Have you offended anyone recently? And someone even deliberately linked you to Charles.

"I just called Mr. Wells, and he said Charles is furious about this. They think it's your doing."
