Of the Noveldrama stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Cherished Wife. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 734. Let's read the author's The Cherished Wife Noveldrama story right here.
"Alright, it's almost ready!" Suzy quickly pulled Winter up. "Hurry, go change! The male and female leads will go in first, and you're next."
As she spoke, she noticed a hint of stiffness in Winter's expression. Suzy hastily added, "Winter, you're still young and have a lot going for you. The role of the second female lead is the highlight of this film. I believe this opportunity will take your career to the next level."
"Okay," Winter nodded. "Hand me the outfit, I'll change now!"
...
In the president's office at the Collosus building, Charles was still reviewing documents while Ronald waited outside.
Becky was growing increasingly anxious and said, "Mr. Wells, they've already sent someone to rush us. The press conference is about to start, but Mr. Hoffman isn't done yet!"
As she spoke, her phone started ringing again. Ronald glanced at Becky, his demeanor unruffled. "You've been by Mr. Hoffman's side long enough. Haven't you picked up even a bit of his composure? Stay calm."
Ronald then glanced toward a corner, unsurprisingly catching Janet trying to sneak away. Becky followed his gaze and spotted Janet acting suspiciously. Raising her eyebrows, she asked, "Mr. Wells, about Ms. Baker…"
"Ignore her," Ronald replied.
Janet's stubborn personality meant she would not be able to hold back, especially with today's big event. There was no need for them to intervene. Janet was bound to cause a scene herself.
"What are you two looking at?" Charles emerged from his office, squinting as he shot a glance at Ronald and Becky. "Let's head out," he ordered.
Ronald was taken aback and replied, "But Mr. Hoffman, what can I do? The news is going to come out either way. I can't control how your wife feels!"
"You just do your job. She won't have an issue with it," Charles said, getting into the car. "Inform the press conference that it's time to start. I'll make my appearance at the end. As for the drama, Janet is likely to put on quite a show."
"Understood." Ronald felt a surge of excitement. "By the way, I got a call from the backstage team earlier—they said there's an issue with Winter's dress. Mr. Hoffman, this is going to be quite a spectacle!"
With Charles making a late entrance, he was giving Janet and Winter plenty of space for their drama.
As expected, even before their car reached the press conference venue, Ronald's phone rang. "Mr. Wells, are you not here yet? Something big just happened!"
