"It's not exactly my style. Saint Di's all about prim and proper dresses fit for a demure lady. I'm definitely not that," Rowena grumbled. However, as her eyes landed on a particular dress, she could not help but be drawn in.

Noelle caught a glimpse and instantly knew Rowena was smitten. She waved someone over. "Hey, could you help me get one of these?" Noelle flipped through the catalog and pointed at a particular outfit.

The sales associate hesitated, but considering Noelle's apparent connection to Winter, she reluctantly approached. However, her face fell upon seeing the design Noelle was interested in. "Sorry, but that one's not for sale."

"Not for sale?" Noelle arched an eyebrow. "Why's that?"

"It's just not, okay? Why all the questions?"

"Hmm." Noelle smiled slyly. "Is this how Saint Di treats its customers?"

"What's going on?" Winter, catching the commotion, snapped her catalog shut and strolled over. "Noelle, show me which one caught your eye."

Her face twisted into an awkward grimace as she saw the outfit. "Oh Noelle, my bad. I already claimed that one. It's supposed to be a gift for..."

"Wait, so why did the salesperson just say it wasn't for sale?" Rowena chimed in, unable to hold back. "Winter, didn't you say you were gifting us something? Why are you backing out after we made our decision?”

Rowena's tone was confrontational, putting Winter in an uncomfortable spot. Winter furrowed her brow. "I... I didn't say I wouldn't give it to you. Maybe try looking for another one?" Winter let out a sigh. "Saint Di has tons of other styles. Why can’t you pick a different outfit?”

"I've got my heart set on this one!"

The girls looked at each other, and Rowena burst into laughter. "Haha! You’re saying I can't afford it? Noelle, your sister's relatives are hilarious! Do they think I can't afford it? Isn't your sister the face of this place? She should be able to give out clothes like there’s no tomorrow!”

"Um... I’m sorry to interrupt, but even though Ms. Shaw is our spokesperson, we've never allowed a spokesperson to give away our clothes like that," a store clerk chimed in after overhearing their conversation.

The remark caught everyone off guard, and Winter's expression soured. Suzy jumped in, "I thought Ms. Shaw could pick out anything she wanted from any of your stores."

"That's true, but that's only for Ms. Shaw's personal use. She's the face of our brand, so of course she can take clothes if she wears them herself!”

Winter's cheeks flushed with embarrassment while Rowena had an ‘aha’ moment and chuckled. "Oh, I see. I guess Winter's going to be shelling out big bucks later! Getting one or two outfits for the dozen of us here will cost quite a lot. Still, it doesn’t matter. I’ve got my own money, so I can buy whatever I want for myself. But you know, the best things in life can't be bought!"
