"Zara," Jennifer greeted with a smile, glancing inside. "Where's my brother?"

"You have bad timing, Ms. Jennifer. Mr. Peter just left," Zara replied.

"Left? Where did he go?" Jennifer's face showed disappointment. "I thought he'd be home since he's no longer working at Lennon Group."

"Please come in and sit," Zara offered.

"No, since he's not here, I'll just go."

"Wait, Ms. Jennifer!" Zara called out. "Mr. Peter went to see Ms. Tania and Brandon."

"Tania?" Jennifer hesitated, recalling the scene at the Lennon residence when Tania stood up to Xylos. She sighed softly. "Do you know where they are?"

"They're at the hospital. Ms. Tania's mother is sick, and Mr. Peter had me prepare some soup to bring over. If you need to see him urgently, he'll surely be there."

Peter went straight to the hospital, where Tania and Brandon were keeping Nancy company with Henry nearby.

Standing outside, Peter watched them with a look of relief crossing his face.

Brandon, with his sharp eyes, noticed Peter first. He wriggled free from Tania's arms and ran over, hugging Peter's leg tightly. "Daddy, I missed you so much!"

"Good boy, I missed you too!" Peter said, ruffling Brandon's hair as he picked him up and walked into the room. "Hey guys!"

Tania frowned, choosing to ignore Peter. Nancy, however, looked surprised to hear Brandon calling him 'Daddy', but she quickly gathered herself and smiled. "So, Pete's here. Come have a seat."

Back when Nancy found out about Tania and Peter's divorce, she did not insist otherwise. Thinking back now, she felt the Lennons were truly cold—not only to her daughter but also to Peter, their own kin.

Xylos had always been unyielding and indifferent.

"I heard you're no longer with Lennon Group?" Henry asked, looking at Peter.

Peter nodded. "Yes, that's correct."

Henry's expression hardened. "So, what are your plans? As my son-in-law, if you can't provide for my daughter and grandson and can't promise them a good life, I would never entrust Tania to you."

Peter's lips curved into a confident smile. "Don't worry. I can assure you, my wife's life will only get better if she's by my side."
