Adam replied with an emotionless smile, "Why shouldn't I? You have a marriage certificate with my daughter. Who else are you if you're not my son-in-law?"

Jeremy explained, "Sophia and I obtained the marriage certificate to convince my grandfather to undergo surgery. This was the agreement your daughter and I made.
