"I'm sorry," Claudia smiled awkwardly. "I'm here to apologize to you. Could we go somewhere else to talk?"

Being somewhat well-known figures in class, they drew glances from the crowd when they stopped all of a sudden on the stage.

Lucas, not wanting to attract further attention, nodded. "Okay. what do you have to say?"

Claudia twiddled her fingers nervously before finally bowing to him earnestly. "I'm sorry for being irritated this morning. I know you were just trying to remind me, and I appreciate that very much. I'll stay focused during rehearsals from now on. Let's make sure we all complete this project successfully."

Lucas was surprised. He had not expected her to be so sincere and amiable, and his impression of her improved very significantly.

One fine day after school, Claudia seemed absorbed in her phone as if she were texting someone. Thalia casually glanced at the screen as she walked by, but she could not see anything. Claudia immediately clutched the phone close to her chest and eyed Thalia warily.

Suppressing her irritation, Thalia smiled provocatively. "Why are you acting like there's something valuable hidden in your phone? Don't act like everyone wants to see it."

Claudia did not seem bothered and merely replied with a smile, "I'm not hiding anything valuable. I just don't want you to invade my privacy."

Thalia shrugged nonchalantly. "As if I care."
