Hearing Charles try to protect the person responsible for Charlie's death right at Charlie's grave, Evelyn suddenly broke down, screaming at the top of her lungs.

"Charles, get out of here, as far away as possible!"

Her heart was filled with rage, yet she felt utterly powerless, drowning in despair. Seeing Evelyn cornered and emotionally shattered, Charles couldn't bear to leave her alone. He held Evelyn tightly in his arms, letting her struggle against him, refusing to let go.

He turned to Dahlia, who was standing behind him, his voice heavy with disapproval. "Dahlia, just go home."

He regretted ever giving in. "Charles..." Dahlia wasn't done stirring the pot and had no intention of leaving. But the look Charles gave her was one of silent reprimand, making it clear she had crossed a line. She shouldn’t have ignored him and shown up here uninvited, causing such a scene and disturbing the peace.

Fuming but hiding it well, Dahlia put on a pitiful expression and said softly, "Alright, I'll head back home. Charles, you also need to look after yourself. The doctor said you need proper rest for your legs and head, or there could be lasting effects."

"Mhm," Charles responded, barely acknowledging her concern. His mind was solely on Evelyn.

With no reason to linger, Dahlia turned to leave. But she didn't expect to bump into the last person she wanted to see – Rosa.

Their eyes met across a short distance, and the malice in Rosa's gaze sent a shiver down Dahlia's spine. She wasn't afraid of Evelyn, but Rosa was a whole different story.

"Charles..." Dahlia instinctively called out to him.

Charles' voice turned even colder. "Go."

Tony supported Rosa as she climbed the last few steps. Once steady, she gave Evelyn a reassuring look before her expression hardened. She coldly instructed the bodyguard behind her, "Hold her."

The bodyguard moved forward immediately. Terrified, Dahlia backed away, running towards Charles, pleading, "Charles, save me!"

She couldn’t let Rosa catch her. But she wasn't quick enough. The bodyguard had her in a flash, forcing her down on her knees in front of Charlie's tombstone.

"Grandma!" Charles immediately released Evelyn, showing his unwavering support for Dahlia. He clearly disapproved of Rosa's actions and rushed forward to intervene. "Let Dahlia go!"
