Dahlia was well aware that Charlie had passed away. Yet, she brought up Charlie over and over again in front of her.
Evelyn was certain that Dahlia had made that call on purpose! She deliberately chose the day of Charlie's funeral to celebrate Sandy's nonsensical third-place win on sports day.

"Don’t you want to see Charlie?" Dahlia said softly.
Charles didn't say anything more; indeed, it had been a long time since he last saw her.

Even so, he still cared deeply for her. Blood was thicker than water, after all.
Fortunately, Charlie was dead.
A vicious gleam flashed in Dahlia's eyes.
