In her gasp of shock, Evelyn did not hesitate to pull with all her might.

“Crash—”

The desserts, wines, and soft drinks on the table instantly spilled everywhere, falling to the ground. The place was a complete mess.

“Evelyn, stop!” Charles commanded her sternly.

Stop?

Evelyn sneered. She came here today to ruin the celebration Dahlia and Sandy were showing off.

Amidst Charles' angry shouts, Evelyn acted again, overturning the displayed gifts. The gifts all fell amidst the chaos, turning into trash.

“No!” Sandy cried even louder. She watched as Evelyn destroyed the party her parents had meticulously arranged for her. She wanted to show off to her kindergarten friends. Now, it was all ruined.

“Evelyn, this is too much!” Dahlia’s eyes were red with anger. She stood up and quickly rushed towards Evelyn.

As Evelyn reached the side of the champagne tower, Dahlia grabbed her hand and tried to push her onto it. If Evelyn had crashed onto it, her face would have been ruined.

However, Evelyn reacted swiftly. The moment Dahlia grabbed her, she pulled back.

Dahlia lost her balance. “Ah!” With that scream, Dahlia fell onto it.

“Crash—”

The champagne tower toppled, shattering on the ground.

Dahlia fell among the pieces of glass. The shards pierced her skin, and she let out a piercing scream. “Ah!”

Charles was soothing Sandy, but the scream made him look up to see Dahlia lying among the shards. “Dahlia!”

“Mommy!” Sandy cried out, rushing over.

“Charles, it hurts so much.” Dahlia leaned into Charles' embrace, crying out in pain.

Charles' gaze immediately shifted from Evelyn back to Dahlia. “I'll take you to the hospital.” He picked her up in his arms.

Outside the hotel, two cars were parked. One was a police car, and the other was a Rolls-Royce Ghost.

As Charles tenderly placed Dahlia in the passenger seat of his car, Evelyn was stuffed into the police car.

The two cars went their separate ways.

...

Evelyn was taken into the detention room. It was not her first time at the police station, but it was her first time being arrested.

After bringing her in, the officers left.
