However, Hailey didn't get the chance to touch Declan. He suddenly grabbed her slender wrists and pushed them up against the wall. His tall frame closed in on her.

So she wasn't allowed to touch him. Hailey blinked, surprised by how close he suddenly was. His cold, handsome face was now right in front of hers.

He quickly released her wrists and took two steps back, putting some space between them.

"Shit! I'm bleeding!" she exclaimed.

Declan glanced at her and saw the blood trickling from her nose. He pulled out two tissues and handed them to her. "Tilt your head back. It'll stop soon."

“Why am I bleeding?”
