“Sir,” the secretary said in a low and painful tone as he couldn’t believe that his new tablet was 

now in pieces. 

“I will get you a new one,” Damien said after he heard him calling him and knew instantly what the 

secretary wanted to say. 

“How many daughters does the Andersons family have?” he asked as he looked at the secretary. 

At that time when Luke told him that they would go after Scotts, he did not believe it and thought it was a misunderstanding but now, he knew that things might get out of hand if he did not find out what was happening as soon as possible. 

“Two sir. Their last born is a girl but not many people know about it. She has been protected from the public. I haven’t been able to find her name,” the secretary said as he had done an 

investigation. 

Damien ran his left and on his hair out of desperation to know more. 

“Sir, what are we going to do with the news? The netizens are boycotting our products.” 

The secretary was anxious and did not know what to do. He had been on Damien’s side since Damien started his career but nothing like this had ever happened. The netizens were crazy people that would even cause a large company to go bankrupt. He was afraid that such a thing might happen to them, resulting in him being jobless. 

“Everyone knows that we indeed oppressed them. There is nothing we can say that can change the netizens‘ opinion about us. We had something on Flores, it could have been easy for us since we would have said that that was the cause of us oppressing us. Now, if we plot something and say they did it, I am afraid that the Andersons will investigate it. They want us to be bankrupt and that can cause it since any netizen that is still on our side will hate us,” Damien said calmly with his eyes staring 

at the wall blankly. 

“Sir, do you mean that there is nothing we can do?” the secretary asked. 

“About the netizens boycotting us? Yes. I know you think that we will end up bankrupt if we don’t say anything but it is quite the opposite.”

Damien’s eyes dimmed as he spoke. He knew that in just a few minutes, they had lost billions. He wanted to do something to avoid the damage but there wasn’t. Thus he could only look at the company‘ stock decrease.

“Apologize? Do you want me to be the laughingstock? Also, how can I just apologize when I don’t know what I did? I have never met that woman so how can I apologize when I firmly believe that I am innocent?” Damien asked coldly as he glanced at his secretary. 

The way he looked at him, made the young man shiver and bit his lower l*p to prevent himself from saying anything that might offend his boss. 

“When did the Andersons start working with those companies?” Damien asked with questioning eyes cause he felt that there was something fishy going on. 

“They reached out to the companies a month ago but it seems that they always had the Elpres‘ back the secretary pointed out slowly as he was worried he might say something wrong once more. 

“Why?” his eyes darkened when he had that but anyone could see a little hope in that since he wished 

that that wasn’t the case. 

“Sir, you oppressed the Flores with the intention of making them go bankrupt but they didn’t even 

when you left no loophole for them to survive,” the secretary said immediately since he had always 

wanted to say it out loud but always thought that he was just overthinking. 

Damien’s eyes flickered as they turned darker and his face became cold. 

He wasn’t a fool. As a businessman, he understood what he was being told. He had never thought of anything even after he saw the Flores were still standing but now it has been pointed out, he started to understand what was really happening.

“Apart from Luke who is now working in their family’s hospital in the city, Ace, Ariana, and Marco are also in the city.” the secretary said what he had discovered after being told to keep an eye on Luke Anderson. 

“Ace is an international celebrity and never deals with business, Ariana is here to oversee how her hotel is. Marco on the other hand, is known as an international chef.” 

“What are you trying to say when you tell me that?” Damien asked after lighting his cigarette and as he glanced at the man standing in front of him. 

“Sir, I am sure that there is someone who is managing the newly bought company, Aflovour Corp but the ones I haven’t mentioned aren’t in the city,” the secretary said, making Damien’s eyes brighten. 

“Are you to

“Yes, it is most likely. I have investigated the other Andersons. Adrian and their parents are in the capital, Alex is out of the country while Luke’s parents are out of the country for vacation.”
