“I was wrong, Bella. I should have known better than to drink too much. I was out of line.” Axel owned up to his mistake, not wanting to yell at his sister.

“So you kissed Roza because of the alcohol? Hmph! Men are irresponsible flirts!”

Axel closed his eyes and shook his head. “I was conscious and aware when I kissed her. I like her, Bella, but she doesn’t feel the same way about me. We’re not meant to be.
