Mirabella nodded, her fingers playfully entwining with his, "We're almost done here."

James's eyes lifted at the corners, content to let her fiddle with his fingers. "When do you plan on going back?"

"In a couple of days, I want to visit Catherine first." Mirabella had planned this for a while, realizing she hadn't called Catherine in days.

James hummed in response, "I'll prepare some gifts for you to bring to the old lady."

"Sure." Mirabella knew Catherine was quite fond of James, so she didn't refuse.

"Let's go grab some dinner." James squeezed her hand before letting go and starting the car to leave the campus.

At that moment, Mirabella's phone buzzed with a message.

She took out her phone and saw it was from Blaze, a senior from the Physics Department she had added on Messenger. She straightened up a bit before replying, "I've already left the campus. Is there something you need, senior?"

She remembered receiving a generous gift from him and hadn't found the chance to return the favor.

Blaze ran a hand through his hair and typed back, "So it was you who pressed the elevator button for me just now?"

Mirabella hadn't expected the person struggling with a bunch of boxes to be Blaze, "If there was no one else, then it must have been me."

Blaze found his junior sister quite amusing, "I mentioned before about treating you to a meal, but something always came up. Are you free these days to catch up?"

Mirabella was busy with preparations for her trip and figured she wouldn't have much free time, so she replied, "How about we wait until the next school year starts?"
