Mirabella's fingers lightly brushed the mouse, reading through the document. There wasn't much detail, but the part about this person named 'Hunter' disappearing from the medical school was quite intriguing.

Regardless of whether this person was the clan leader or not, it seemed clear that this was probably the main reason Nick had returned from overseas to attend medical school.

Mirabella pondered for a moment, then restored the document to its original state and shut down the computer.

She got up, left Nick's room, went downstairs, and poured herself a glass of water.

As she thought over the matter, Mirabella drank the water in one gulp, then took out her cell phone and opened Morgan's Messenger to make a voice call.

She was in luck today; the call connected shortly after.

"Rea, what's up?" Paul was in the garden, watering his collection of toxic plants.

Leaning lazily against the arm of the sofa without sitting down, Mirabella's gaze drifted to the garden outside the floor-to-ceiling window. "How's the clan leader doing?"

Hearing her suddenly ask about the clan leader, Paul's movements paused, his expression puzzled. "She's doing fine. What made you think of her all of a sudden?"

"Oh, I just remembered her chronic illness. The medication you brought back last time, did it work?" Mirabella asked with an unchanged expression.

Paul's attention was caught by her latter question. "So, you knew I was at the Pharmacists’ Guild and deliberately leaked the news so I'd buy the medication, right?"

Caught off-guard, Mirabella was speechless.
