Lisa blinked, puzzled. “Is something up with your computer?”

“Huh?” Mirabella looked up briefly, then answered, “Nope.”

“Oh, I saw your screen flicker and thought it froze.” Lisa nodded.

“It didn’t.” Mirabella didn’t bother explaining further and shut down her laptop. In less than two seconds, the screen went black.

She closed the laptop and slid it under her pillow.

Lisa watched, taking a moment to snap out of it. “Your computer shuts down so fast…”

Much faster than her own, which sometimes froze and went to a black screen.

Mirabella raised an eyebrow, “It’s alright.”

Lisa touched her nose, then got up and picked up the mirror from the table.

Aside from a bit of sunburn on the first day, her skin hadn’t changed at all. She even felt like her skin was smoother than before, though she wondered if it was just her imagination.

Looking over at Mirabella, Lisa couldn’t help but gush, “That sunscreen of yours is amazing. My skin didn’t get damaged at all. Compared to others, the difference is huge. You wouldn’t believe how many classmates have asked me about my sun protection.”

Especially when she saw Tina’s envious glances, she felt a sense of satisfaction.

Who cares about flaunting wealth?
