The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 261

“Leon, fashion always comes and goes, and soon, this will be out of style before you know it. Let’s just buy one set. There’s no need to buy so many, is there?” Janice said, forcing out a smile.

“That’s okay. I need some new additions to my wardrobe too, so why not buy a few more while we’re at it?” Leon said nonchalantly.

“But…” Janice faltered at this. She wanted to change Leon’s mind, but before she could say anything, Leon interjected, “No buts! Miss, can you help me pack these up and put them on my tab?”

“Yes, sir.” The salesgirl was overjoyed at this. This was her first time encountering a customer as generous as this

one, and she quickly realized that this man was probably a billionaire. Upon realizing this, her attitude changed entirely, and she plastered a wide grin on her face.

Then, as though afraid that Leon would change his mind at the next second, she disappeared to the counter with the clothes he ordered.

Janice was utterly stunned by this sight.

Now that the salesgirl already packed the clothes up, she could not possibly do anything to change Leon’s mind. If she did, it would be humiliating to Leon, not to mention herself too.

It was only a few thousand dollars. Besides, she and Leon were friends for so many years now, surely their friendship mattered more than the money!

At the thought of this, Janice gritted her teeth and decided not to get hung up on it any further.

“Sir, would you like to pay by card or any other payment method?” the salesgirl asked as her fingers flew across the cash register.

“Oh…” Janice’s face flushed red as she realized she misunderstood his intentions.

“Come on. Let’s take a look around the women’s department to see if anything catches your eye,” Leon added, smiling.

“No… There’s no need. The clothes here don’t suit me; I think it’s better if we look somewhere else…” she quickly said.

She brought him into this expensive store, intending to buy him a nice suit to repay him for his help.

However, Janice herself was always a sensible dresser and rarely splurged on expensive clothing, so she had the shock of her life seeing all these clothes, priced at several thousand dollars per piece!

“How would you know that if you haven’t even taken a look?” Leon grew even more puzzled at this.

“He’s right! Miss, why don’t I bring you to the women’s department, and you can try on a few items? If nothing suits you, you can always leave and check out the other stores then.” The salesgirl piped up enthusiastically.

She, realizing that Leon was probably a billionaire, did not want to lose this client just like that. If she could convince Janice to stay and purchase a few items, it would add greatly to her commission!
