“Lily Lagorio?” The smile on both the First Elder and the other elder’s faces dropped instantly when the news was revealed, petrified as though they had seen a ghost.

They finally understood why Nash would have such a solemn expression on his face. Lily used to be his wife, the First Madam of the Woods family.

Although Lily committed quite the offense that caused Nash to lose his honor when she colluded with the Third Elder in a rebellion, she and Nash were once wedded to one another.
