"I'm sorry, I did not ... I would not ... For fuck's sake, I thought you could trust me, but since she apparently told what happened, you know how much that was worth."

He said, and sounded regretful. I quickly look up at him, and could see the regret in his eyes. I quickly looked away. Though their conversation was confusing, it was clear that he wished that he hadn't been with me. I pulled one last time at Gavin and whispered.

"Please Gavin, let's just go, the whole school are watching."

I could feel how tense Gavin was, yet he put a gentle arm around my shoulder.

"Don't worry honey, everything will be OK."

There was a low growling from Matthew, Gavin's looked at him, beyond pissed off.

"You have to be kidding me ... After what you've done."

Matthew stared angrily at Gavin before he looked down at me and his face softens.

"I'm really sorry Clarina, I shouldn't have done what I did, but ...."

I shook my big black head and looked around, my human had give the control to me, he knew that I was just as devastated by what had happened, between us and our mate as he is. I quickly took off through the woods at breathtaking speed. As if I could run from our mate's words "Wish it hadn't happen .... Wish it hadn't happen" But it kept repeating in my head. What kind of mate was I? The only thing we had done since we met her was to make her scared or hurt her. It was not what we were supposed to do to our mate, we were supposed to protect and love our precious mate, but for some reason, we continue to hurt her.

After 2 hours continuously running I stopped and looked around, discovered that I was stopped right outside the entrance to our oasis. I howled in pain, this was the only place where we had a little time with our mate, where she actually liked us. I quickly climbed through the bushes and came out to our oasis. I looked around, this place was always indescribably beautiful. I had never told anyone that I had found it, it was as I secretly knew that the only one I would have to know this place, was my mate. I lay down on the shores and snorted out. We had to figure out how we got our mate to be with us, without fear or hurting her.

But we'd mess up, and Friday did not help it. Why should I absolutely be so stupid and take control over my humans body? Matthew knew that Clarina was under the influence of some drugs, and had wanted to stop after one kiss. But I hadn't wanted to resign myself when first Clarina touched me, I had fought my way back and still kissed, and moved on. If my human hadn't constantly tried to hold me down, I had claimed her that night, I had wanted to, really violently, to make sure that everyone knew that she was mine. But my human was wiser, and had known that Clarina, who had no knowledge of wolf'existence, probably would have freaked out if we had bitten her. So luckily he had fought me on that point, so at least we didn't have to be sorry about that. I put my head between my paws and closed my eyes. I had to devise a way we could get closer into the life of our mate.

I woke up by hear steps out in the woods, not because the person who came this way stomped, but because of my wolf hearing. I stood up when I realized that the person was coming in here! I lifted my nose and sniffed the air, and was bombarded by my mate's great scent, fresh air in the forest just after the rain has fallen and raspberry. When she fully came into our oasis she stared at us, surprised to see us. I whimpered, and lay down on my stomach, would not frighten her more than I had already done.
