After a brief hesitation, Luna called her uncles. "I've already called Helen. You just have to wait for her on the road."
"No, that won't do." Gable chuckled over the phone. "Surely you can't leave the dirty work to us while you do nothing?"
Luna frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing much." Gable kept chuckling. "Look, don't worry—we just need you with us, and you don't have to do a thing. Can't have you go behind our backs and tell your Grandpa, can we?"
Luna paused, but she soon realized that Gable meant she just had to be there.
That would mean they were all in this together, and her uncles simply did not want her to betray them.
If anything, she was relieved since she thought Gable wanted her to kill Helen with her own hands. It would even be better if she gets to see Helen die… or beg her for mercy.
As such, she agreed to her uncle's request and got into their car.
They left Laneville, stopping by a quiet road that led straight to Laneville.
They were joined by a large group of goons called in by Clark and Gable.
They were certainly a menacing sight even as they stood waiting, and even Luna was gulping nervously.
Despite her feisty attitude, this was still her first time getting involved with murder.
And just as everyone expected, Helen herself alighted warily.
"Who are you people?!" she bellowed, looking around at the cars blocking her road. "What do you think you're doing?!"
"Hahaha!!!" Clark was laughing at her in contempt as he alighted, even mimicking her. "Who are you people?! What do you think you're doing?! Hahaha…"
Gable alighted from his car too and slowly strode toward Helen from the back. "Don't tell me you've forgotten about us already, Helen."
The goons with them approached Helen as well, encircling Helen and her car.
"Oh, it's you…" Helen scowled.
