Seeing the middle-aged woman's barely concealed contempt, Sally knew she had no idea she was messing with!
Walking up to the woman, she asked, "You're planning to tell your boys to do him in, huh? You're kidding… This boy has the power of the spiritron vein, and your boys are simply no match for him.
"How do I put it… You're Uriah to your superiors' King David. They're just sending you off to die, so grow a brain instead of dying like cannon fodder."
The middle-aged woman nodded repeatedly but could not actually agree at all.
After all, she was basically cut off from the outside world and had not the faintest idea what the spiritron vein was.
If anything, she was convinced that Sally was trying to deceive her and found it amusing.
Seeing that the middle-aged woman just doomed herself and was nothing to her anyway, Sally did not try to convince her further and instead turned to Frank. "You're lucky. You don't often run into ignorant people like her—it's so fun you get to play wolf in sheep's clothing all you want."
Frank smiled but said nothing, and after thirty minutes, he sensed some movement and laughed coolly at the middle-aged woman. "You really should've taken the lady's advice and recognized reality, or it'd be too late for regrets soon."
"The hell are you on about?" the middle-aged woman asked in feigned surprise.
Frank snorted and stepped outside, allowing the men-in-black to surround him.
The middle-aged woman stepped out and leaned on the door, whipping out a box of popcorn out of nowhere.
"Listen here, boy." She chuckled as she munched on the popcorn. "Never run into the lion's den like you're some hotshot. Nobody's that nice, and it doesn't matter what you do—look around you before you decide on anything. That's the only truth that matters, or in the end, you'd die for it!"
Frank laughed coolly. "The way you put it, you already think that you're going to win?"
"Or what?" The middle-aged woman laughed. "There's strength in numbers, and these boys are all elites! So stop resisting and get down on your knees, and I might just make it painless!"
Frank snorted and growled, "Right back at you!"
