Easton knew his father very well. He realized the situation instantly, dropped the tablet computer at once and threw himself into Nora's arms.

"Mom, don't you want me anymore?" The little guy pursed his lips and acted as if he was about to cry immediately.

Nora was asked this question again. She didn't know what to do with Derek and Easton, but she had a soft spot for her son. Even though she knew Easton was putting on a show, she couldn't bear to see his sad face.

Nora was almost scared to death by Penelope. Ignoring the aches all over her body, she got up immediately and said, "Hide yourself. Let me..."

Before she could finish her words, Nora saw Derek grab the bathrobe casually, put it on and walk towards the door.

As soon as the door was opened, Penelope, who was ready to rush in, flinched at the sight of Derek, staggered back and almost fell.

"Nora is sleeping. Come to her later." Derek said.

Penelope almost choked on her own drool. Shocked, she kept nodding, ran back to her room and closed the door.
