"It would be much appreciated if that's the case!"

Meredith stood up immediately when she heard that Dennis had agreed to her request. She felt light-headed, not knowing how to express her gratitude.

"It's all right. You can bring the person over tomorrow. I will try my best to accommodate you."

Dennis nodded after Meredith told him the whole story.

"It's the forced hypnosis you are going to operate. Let me make it clear to you that there is a certain risk in doing so. You have to be mentally prepared."

Meredith said yes and left.

Dennis took out his cell phone right after she left and called Parker, who was far away from here.

He called Parker's personal number because the two of them were close friends, so there was no way that Dennis could not reach him.

"Hello? Dennis, what's up?"

Because of the time difference, it was already midnight, and Parker had fallen asleep.

However, seeing that it was Dennis' number on the screen, he still answered it.

After all, he knew Dennis too well and he know he would not call without something urgent.

"Parker, I... Saw Meredith today."

Dennis didn't beat around the bush but hit the point directly.

Parker froze and held the phone tightly in his hand. "What are you talking about? You know... She's gone."

"I'm not kidding. Derek came to me today with something, accompanied by a woman called Mer. I asked her a few more questions, and it turned out she was Meredith. She didn't die back then. She was injured and lost her memory."

Parker sat up from the bed and began to dress after he heard the story.

"Meredith... Is she really okay?"

"Why didn't she contact me after she regained her memory?" He thought to himself.

According to Dennis, Meredith seemed to be together with Derek now. Did they reconcile again?

Parker felt a splitting headache at the thought of these questions.

He must go back and found out the truth.

"Did you get his contact information? I'm going back to China now. Please help me keep an eye on her and don't let her disappear again."

As soon as he got dressed, He Parker told his assistant to book him the next flight home.

He did not forget to tell Dennis to get Meredith's whereabouts so that the two of them would not miss each other again.

He Parker was about to drive to the airport after he'd done these.

His heart was no longer here but flew to J City, to the person he had thought of all this time.

Jenny was startled by the noise in the middle of the night. She came downstairs and saw Parker rushing out. She hurried her footsteps and asked, "What's wrong? You're going somewhere at this time? Is it something urgent?"

"Meredith is back. I'm going back to find her!"

Parker was about to leave after saying this.

Jenny clenched her lower lip. She had sealed off the news so that Parker would not leave and go to the woman again.

However, he still managed to know.

"Parker, it's been so many years. Haven't you given up on her yet? You've suffered so much to be where you are at now. Are you going to give it up just like this?"

"If she were still alive, it's worth everything."

Parker said firmly, then broke free of Jenny's hand and strode out into the dark.

Jenny could only watch as the car sped out of her sight. The only thing left with her was helplessness and pain.

She saw and felt all Parker's pain over the years and tried to stay by his side so that he could walk free from his dark past.

Derek obviously didn't believe what Meredith just said.

"Well..."

Meredith pondered for a moment, considering that Derek and He Parker had a history before, she did not say anything about Parker.

"I met him by chance. Even I would have one or two friends, right?"

Derek couldn't say anything, hearing what Meredith had said.

"Is he willing to help or not?"

"He said yes, and we can bring Wesley over tomorrow."

Derek nodded unwillingly.

"But..."

Meredith thought of what Dennis had just said. "Hypnosis may have side effects on the subject..."

Derek understood immediately that Meredith was hesitating whether to tell Wesley about it.

Knowing Wesley, he might have a second thought when was told about the side effect. It could make the hypnosis hard to complete.

But if he kept his mouth shut, he could be guilty of deliberately holding off key information.

Meredith had never been such a person.

"Are you considering telling Wesley?"

Meredith nodded.

Derek smiled. "Forget it. I don't think it's necessary to tell him everything. Besides, we're looking for his daughter. Isn't it right for him to cooperate with us?"

Meredith murmured an agreement. She thought about the days when Wesley thought she was his daughter, but he wasn't good to her...
