Third person's POV
12 years later
The lady sat on the chair with her back straight and a stoic look on her face as she looked around the restaurant. Her calculative eyes taking in every small details around her. Her presence screamed power and respect. She crossed her leg and leaned back on the chair as she went through the menu. The waiter's heart pounded like drums being in presence of such raw authority, she cleared her throat making the young frightful waiter flinch inside, "Je vais avoir L'Escargot Montorgueil avec Quenelles de brochet et Crème brûlée. Et quoi que suggère le chef." She said, her voice just as cold as her eyes. (I'll have the L'Escargot Montorgueil with Quenelles de brochet and Crème brûlée. And whatever the chef suggests.)2
The waiter nodded and went inside the kitchen and repeated the order. Not even 10 minutes later everything was served before her. She took her time eating a bite of every food. She hummed in the addicting taste of brochet. The chefs all stood out of the kitchen nervously looking at the critique. She called all the chefs who had made her food.
They all stood with an impassive face but from inside they were all scared, their future layed in the hands of this woman, "J'ai vraiment aimé la nourriture, surtout le belon que vous aviez préparé. Votre entretien et votre hygiène sont également remarquables. Vous avez fait de l'excellent travail" (i really liked the food, especially belon you had prepared. Your maintenance and hygiene is also remarkable. You guys have done excellent job.) Through her voice was cold, her words seemed to have calmed the poor chefs down. She brought out a certificate and wrote the restaurant's name.
The employees were over the roof with joy, it was pretty hard to impress the young critique who is also a world renounce chef but they still managed to get her to like them.1
She signed the paper, Nora Huntsons. Her grey eyes still as cold but she flashed them a small smile, " suivre le caractère unique. c'est ce qui vous rend la nourriture différente." (keep up with the uniqueness. it's what makes you food different.) With that she gave the certificate to the manager respectfully and went out of the restaurant.3
She took a deep breath, taking in the sensual smell of Paris. Her phone began to ring, she smiled and picked it up, "Hey mommy" she said with a squeak.
"Hey baby, How is Paris treating you?" Her mother asked softly.
"It is treating me well enough, I thought I could rest today or even go shopping but the council sent me to this new werewolf restaurant.. I just left.." she said with a tired sigh.
She came to Paris because there was a grand wedding of the alpha King's daughter. The bride had requested that only I would make food for her and her guests. Though the fees was insanely high but it wasn't anything for the royals. But what was annoying was that the king's daughter was a big brat and she exhausted Nora to no extend.
"Aww my poor baby!! Just come back home. I won't allow you to work for a week" she said the last part sternly, she loved her daughter so much. She doesn't want to see her daughter exhaust herself to death.
"I am fine mommy. But you're right I am exhausting myself too much, I'll be home by tomorrow or day after tomorrow" she said as she made her way into a luxury perfume store. After saying good byes, Nora kept her phone in her birkin bag and went to shop for her sister and mother.
